We have just been informed that competitors can stay in a ‘self-contained’ motorhome or R.V. at Huntington State Beach during the 2006 Lifeguard Nationals Competition. Competitors will be allowed to stay beginning Wednesday night, August 9th through Saturday night. Check in on Wednesday no sooner than 1400 hours and must depart by 12:00 noon on Sunday. Lot 9 is located directly behind the competition site.

Some basic information is listed below:

Limited availability 40 spaces
First 40 checks received by mail will receive a confirmation reply with all rules and regulations within one week of receipt of check.
Cost per night will be $75.00.
No hook ups are available and your vehicle must be ‘self-contained.’
All persons must sleep inside the vehicle.
No tent camping on the beach.
Alcohol is allowed in the R.V. area.
