Mother Nature smiled on the beautiful beaches of Cape May for Day Two of the 2003 USLA National Lifeguard Championships. Brilliant sunshine and a consistent swell greeted the competitors as they began their quest for USLA gold.

Events continued all day and well into the night, with the open beach flag national champions being crowned well after 10 pm, under the lights, much to the delight of the cheering crowd which stayed late to watch.
